Our story

I began producing actual furniture in 2002. I began producing charcuterie boards for friends and family in 2023. After I made my sixteenth board, I realized that I could make them for a commercial market.

Every aspect of the boards we produce is engineered, tested, and refined for an experience unlike any other. We source the Black Walnut planks from a single supplier who hand-selects each tree segment for us. Our sealer is hand-made on our stove because we couldn’t find a sealer we liked. We create our food-safe beeswax and Jojoba oil sealer from scratch, one small batch at a time. Our mica colors are mixed into the resin by hand to elicit organic, vibrant displays that are unique to each board.

Our mission is to provide a functional cutting board that you are proud to use, cherish, and share with your family and friends, and like the products that my grandfather, Bert Breher produced, will last your lifetime and beyond.

We have beliefs and values too, as everyone should, we think about every single component that goes into delivering an amazing product to you. From the suppliers of our wood, to the sources of our packing and packaging, we insist that every single element is sustainable. You will never find a single bit of styrofoam in our boxes. All of our wood comes from sustainable forests. Even our mica pigments are naturally sourced. When you receive your board, you will notice that every element of the package can be recycled or reused. We hope you will enjoy our products and we know you’ll love the company you are buying them from.
